fREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
Our sessions are conversations focused on what's happening in your career and the challenges you're facing. You might bring a difficult situation with your team, an important decision, or something you've been questioning about yourself.
I'll help you explore it from a different perspective, drawing on my own leadership experience to offer practical advice where it's helpful. There's no rigid formula, our work is shaped around you.
-
Having spent over 30 years in luxury retail, working my way from Sales Associate to CEO, I've experienced many of the challenges my clients face. I combine coaching with practical mentoring, which means that alongside helping you find your own answers, I can share relevant experiences, offer advice, and help you work through the realities of your role.
-
I understand that admitting you're struggling can feel uncomfortable, particularly when you're used to being the person everyone else relies on.
Our sessions offer a confidential, judgement-free environment where you can speak honestly without worrying about how you'll be perceived. We'll build that trust naturally, at a pace you're comfortable with.
-
We'll begin by understanding what you'd like to change and what success would look like for you. That might mean feeling more comfortable contributing in senior meetings, managing a difficult relationship, making better use of your team's capabilities or delivering against your priorities.
We'll return to those goals throughout our work together so you can recognise the progress you're making.
-
I know how difficult it can be to find time for yourself when you're managing a busy team or business.
Our sessions can take place online or in person, with WhatsApp or Messenger coaching also available as an alternative format. Any actions between sessions will be agreed together, taking into account your commitments and how you prefer to work.
-
Coaching is a considered investment, and I think it's important that you feel comfortable with the decision. But consider what could change if you genuinely believed in your own abilities. You might feel more confident speaking up in important meetings, trust yourself to make difficult decisions, and put yourself forward for opportunities you'd previously have questioned whether you were ready for.
That greater self-belief can make a real difference to the results you achieve, the opportunities you pursue and ultimately, the direction your career takes. My aim is to help you make changes that keep benefiting you long after our time together ends.
-
Not at all. Some clients come to me with a very specific challenge, while others simply know that something needs to change. Perhaps you've recently taken on more responsibility, or you're achieving results but finding the experience more stressful than you'd like. Part of our initial work is understanding what's happening and deciding where to focus.
-
The relationship between a coach and client is personal, and it's important that you feel comfortable with the person you're working with.
That's why I offer a free discovery call. We'll talk about your situation, what you'd like to achieve, and how I might be able to help. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for my approach before making any commitment.
-
Absolutely. Whether you're bringing together senior leaders, emerging managers, or customer-facing teams, I'll tailor the content and conversations to their responsibilities, experience, and the challenges they're facing at work.
-
The five themes I've outlined are starting points rather than fixed programs. If there's something happening within your organisation that you'd like your people to explore, we can develop a session around that. We'll discuss what you're hoping to achieve and agree on an approach that makes sense for your team.
-
I bring over 30 years of experience working within and leading international luxury businesses, so the examples and perspectives I share come from situations I've experienced myself. My approach is conversational and practical, giving your people the opportunity to explore ideas, share experiences, and consider how they might approach things differently.
-
Not everyone feels comfortable speaking up in a group, and I understand that. I'll take the people attending into consideration when planning the session, creating opportunities for participation without putting individuals under unnecessary pressure. The aim is for everyone to feel comfortable contributing and learning from the experience.

Luxury retail is where I've built my career, but many of the lessons I've learnt about leadership, human connection and creating exceptional experiences apply beyond the industry. My sessions are particularly relevant to retail, hospitality and other customer-focused organisations where people play an important role in the success of the business.
